One Place Tinsel Trail Grand Opening – Tuscaloosa, AL

Our next three events all take place at the same location, starting with the One Place Tinsel Trail Grand Opening on November 24, 2025, at Government Plaza. The Tinsel Trail has events for your furry friends, too! Pet Palooza is their annual pet-friendly day on the trail, where pets can enjoy complimentary treats and photos with Santa. The event takes place from 3:00 – 5:00 PM on December 6, 2025. All pets must be up to date on vaccinations and kept on a leash during the event.

Christmas Afloat – Tuscaloosa, AL

Experience the holiday lights from a new perspective and enjoy a unique Tuscaloosa holiday event, Christmas Afloat, which takes place annually on the Black Warrior River. See boats of all shapes and sizes decked out in their holiday best, traveling a route that starts at Dark Holt Lake. Dates for the 2025 Christmas Afloat haven't been announced just yet, but it typically takes place on the second Saturday of December.
